BELLEVUE — Eric Baker, 30, of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away March 31, 2015. He was born in Bellevue, Ohio, the son of Bruce Baker and Rachael (Dodson) Baker.
Eric was a 2002 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. He was an inspiring father to his two children, Mia and Max. Baker was an avid outdoorsman who derived great pleasure from deer hunting, especially while using his bow.
Eric equally enjoyed riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes and wrenching on anything with an engine. He had recently picked up the art of making his own wine. He had an entrepreneur's mind and would give his shirt off his back for anyone in need. Eric worked for Quality Welding Inc. in Bellevue as a Welder-Fabricator.
He is survived by his mother, Rachael Baker of Bellevue; father, Bruce (Rita) Baker of Clyde, Ohio; children, Max and Mia Baker of Bellevue; brother, Kyle Baker of Bellevue; step-brothers, Jim Laird and Scott (Jenny) Laird, both of Bellevue; step-sister, Tracy Gore of Bellevue; grandfather, LaMar Baker of Green Springs, Ohio; and significant other, Sarah Matter of Bellevue.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 6, from 2-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 7 at 11 a.m.
Memorials can be made to a Memorial Fund for his children's needs at Firelands Federal Credit Union, 221 E. Main Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811.
