Eric had many loves in his life.
His life with Kellie was spent fishing, wrestling, enjoying gathering at events with 337 Outkast PMA Auto Club which he was a member of. He also enjoyed playing games with family (even though they cheated and still lost). Their Greatest Love was time spent with their children and grandchildren to which there were many. Eric let go of all his pain and went on to Gain His Wings with family around him on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
Eric was born December 15, 1971 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Growing up in the Bayou State his whole life, no surprise that his chosen career was Tugboat Tanker man.
Eric formed a family with Kellie 24 years ago with 4 children and 16 grandchildren.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Eric L Carlin, Sr. and Geraldine (Monceaux) Carlin of Lake Charles, Louisiana; brother Dennis James Carlin of Moss Bluff, Louisiana.
Eric is survived by his wife Kellie (O'quinn) Carlin; two sons, Ashland Miller (Jessica) and Austin O'Quinn (Brittany); two daughters, Caitlin O'Quinn (Landon) and Chelsey David; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and one godchild, Kadence Oldham. Eric loved dearly all his family and friends, whom he held in his heart.
A celebration of life is going to be held on Friday, May 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, with a reading at 6:00 PM at 315 N. 14th St. in Kinder, Louisiana.

I’m still in shock. Eric was an amazing family man both to his family and his 337 OutKast family. The last car show we sat and talked about our families and trucks. You will be missed by so many. RIP my OutKast brother.
