STOKESDALE - Eric Ray Dillon, 17, of 109 Grove Drive, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, at the Yates-Dillon Family Cemetery with the Reverend Harry Andrews officiating.
Eric was born on January 6, 1990, in Stuart, Va. He attended Score Center in Reidsville. He loved playing video games and enjoyed joking and being around his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Yates Dillon and fiancŽ, Christopher Taylor of Stokesdale; father, Wesley Dillon of Walnut Cove; sister, Nichole Dillon; brothers, Brandon Dillon and Casey Dillon all of Stokesdale; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Ann Yates of Madison; paternal grandparents, Patsy Dillon of Virginia and Ray Dillon of Wilmington; and maternal great grandmothers, Mary Yates and Lois Dillon both of Madison.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
Memorial contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses to Ray Funeral Home, 119 N. Market St., Madison, N.C. 27025.
Ray Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.

Eric, you are with me as long as i breathe. I tell the cake story alot and laugh now, i carried so much guilt for that even before this picture. I wanted to save you, im sorry i didnt know how.

Dillon Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Eric. I don't know if you guys will remember me or not but my name is Wanda Tarlton and I had Eric when he was in Kindergarten at Pine Hall School. If I had know about this I would have love to have came to see Nichole, Brandon and Casey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
