Eric will be greatly missed by many, as he touched many lives. I will miss him so much and think of him almost daily. Eric was a man of "laughter" (which was very contagious and loved by many). Not just a co-worker, but a friend. There was nothing that you could not talk with Eric about. He is greatly missed! My prayers and thoughts go out to his family at home and his family at work. There truly are no words that can describe how much he will be missed! May you all find confront and peace in the many wonderful memories and friendships he left behind. Truly a legacy and a classic in himself. I am so thankful that I was able to get him to a BSU football game and enjoy his company. Eric, was "the great" and I will miss him greatly.

ERIC - could talk me onto any ride at a theme park. The Fournier family has been to many throughout the years.....Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Disney, MGM, Cedar Point, but the best one he talked me into riding was the Tube Water Ride at Wet n' Wild in Florida. All the persuasive conversations were about the same, but this particular one went something like this...Eric "Erin, come on the tube ride with me!" Erin "I don't know Eric that looks pretty dangerous." Eric "no way, it's not dangerous, I've already been on it and it's awesome!" The next thing I know, I'm up about 3 or 4 stories high, getting a helmet slapped on my head, being told that I must keep my hands and legs crossed at all times and as Eric and I are just about to be released into our tubes he yells to me with a huge grin on his face "hold your breath half way down!" What!!?? I kept taking breaths and then holding my breath because I had no idea where half way was! It seemed to go on forever and when I reached the end I could hear Eric's wonderful laugh, I was steaming mad and had a wedgie that would take me the rest of the day to feel normal...but I loved it! Not the wedgie, the ride.
Eric's laugh, Bud Light, tubing at Keith and Mary's, Paintball war games, golfing, Red Wing games, Chicago trips, family gatherings during Christmas-Easter-Birthdays and just hanging out at our pool on hot summer days.
I will miss you brother, something awful....please keep a spot for us and have the Bloody Mary's ready.
Love,
Erin

My deepest condolences to Eric's family. I had worked with Eric a long time ago when Trinity was Mercy. We worked on the ARTs system together. He was one of the best Patient Accounting/IT people I have ever worked with. His caring ways and persistence in always wanting to do his job right gave me hope that IT and Finance could do great things together! He will never be forgotten.

I wish I could be with you today! Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. What Mark and I remember most about Eric was his huge smile and infectious laugh. He had an non judge-mental nature that inspired you to be the same. His love of sports pulled you in,even if you were not a sport fan. We believe that from Heaven he will be watching over those he loved!

I have known Eric a long time. He was an excellent teacher and friend. He always made sure that we had the information we needed to do the job and no matter how many times I might ask the same question, he always gave me the answer. Now if he could he might come to my work area to show me so I might learn better. Such a great person. He will be dearly missed. I am praying for the whole family. God Bless all of you.

Eric worked with Mount Carmel on our transition to a new system and spent a fair amount of time with the Columbus staff after we went up on the system. Eric was a wonderful teacher, fun, caring, thoughtful and innovative. Our staff loved him and called him Skippy, which we learned from his other team members was their nickname for him. Our staff liked him so much they brought him a gift the second day after meeting him. Eric had a wealth of knowledge and experience, but more importantly he had a gentle, kind, respectful, and joyful personality which will be greatly missed. During his stay in Columbus, Eric spent a day on the weekend golfing with my husband and my husband's family and joined us for dinner at our home after a hot day on the golf course. It was a great opportunity to really get to know Eric better and I am so glad I had the opportunity of that gift of time with him. I learned how much he loved golf, his golf league, friends, family and you could see his exuberance for life. Eric always brought smiles and joy to any meeting, but took his job seriously and was very dedicated and committed. What I really believe is that Eric tried hard to please others. What a kind soul for such a big guy. Donna, losing a child, I believe, is the most difficult struggle one can go through in life. My prayer for you and your family is that you will always be able hold in your heart the happy and joyful memories of Eric and that these memories will bring you some comfort. I often reflect on a verse in the Bible when thinking of my son and maybe it too will bring you some peace in time---What eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard, what has not entered the human heart, is what God has in store for those that love him.

I've known Eric for the last 7 or 8 years from ND Alumni and HNCL Sunday morning hockey and a couple of Rusty Blade tournaments in Canada. Eric was a lot of fun to be around because he could see the humor, however faint, in every situation. A realist with the ability to enjoy life with a grin, a laugh and a beer. That's the lesson he taught me, anyway. Eric had a fun story to share in the locker room nearly every Sunday morning and could also tell you which NFL teams had a chance of winning that day, and I think he was right more often than not. On the ice he wasn't too fast but he was a great passer and did the right things on every play, with or without the puck; and he could hit the top corner whenever he wanted. We all looked forward to Eric's return, but now I'm guessing he's found a better team. ;-) You're missed all over Eric, including the rink.

It deeply saddens me of the passing of Eric. I've known Eric for a while, but never played golf with him until he joined the Saint Clair Shores "GGNAB" league last year. Eric can compete at any level of golf as I found out. His golf swing, laughter, and most of all his great personality will be missed by all he touched.

Eric will be missed by his Trinity family. I had the pleasure of working with Eric who was an absolutely phenominal individual. Eric was such a great person in all of his relationships. I worked with Eric as a vendor and truly enjoyed him. He was not only fun and caring but he was so hard working and detail oriented. I enjoyed the privilege of working with Eric on the HQ Product Advisory Committee and attending IMPACT / InSight conventions with him over the years. Eric was such a rare bird in our society today. He could find the humor in any situation and lighten the mood in an instant with a flash of that smile and his infectious laughter.
He was the “big brother” / “best friend” type of guy that everyone enjoyed being around… but he also had brains to back up that great personality. What a shame we have to say goodbye to him here on earth so soon. You know he already has those angels in stitches up in heaven !!

I didn't know Eric very long, I only saw him when he would come to Idaho with his job. My co-workers and I would be at our cubicals while he is in the training room and we would hear him laugh, you could hear him probably throughout the whole building, which would make us smile and laugh, even though we didn't know what he was laughing about. We will all miss his hearty Laugh!!!

Eric seemed like a brother, I've known him so long. Since I just lost my brother two weeks ago, this is very hard for me.
We have talked work, sports, food, work, sports, family, LOL. We have laughed, argued, teased, and forgave (as siblings do). I will miss his laughter, his knowledge on the job, and his friendship most of all.
My heart goes out to his family that he spoke so fondly of. Please know he was a wonderful person and will be missed. My prayers are with you.

I haven't worked with MPAC since 2003 but one of the things I've missed most about that is not being at MMUE meetings and seeing & coversing with Eric. I used to tap in on his knowledge of the product, Patient Accounting and just 'anything'. I absolutely loved his sense of humor and his contagious laugh! I've never met anyone in my lifetime with such passion, such knowledge, such patience, such energy and such a true respect for everyone that crossed his path. Erics leadership will be almost impossible to match.
Although we hadn't spoken in a few years, Eric entered my mind Friday morning around 8:00am. Then around 9:00am I received this sad, terrible news...just strange how things like that occur. My thought & prayers go out to the family.
Rest in peace dear friend! Rita Bondy
