Karen, I'm sorry for your loss. I just found out today. I worked with Eric at DISA CONUS when I lived in Illinois. I know he loved you. He shared his poems with us along with his fast knowledge on many topics. Send my kindest regards to his extended family

Karen, I am at a loss for words. The news of Eric's passing was a complete shock. I hope you can find comfort and strength knowing your friends are praying for you. I will surely miss the talks Eric and I had periodically. He was more than a co-worker at DISA... He was a mentor and teacher. I once asked Eric why he did not mind taking the time to show and teach me things about his portion of our evaluation team. He said, "You're like a sponge and you thirst for knowledge. You make it easy to teach." I will never forget him and the things I learned from him. Rest In Peace my friend. You will be thought of often.

Karen: Thinking of you often. This morning at the college, conversation is being overheard that says...we will miss Karen this semester. Please know that you are loved and missed. Prayers that you will have the time you need to grieve and that through all of this you will be strengthened; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We knew Eric as the Danish participant in the Norwegian Society of St. Louis! He always had so much knowledge to sharehe was quite brillianta true Renaissance man, yes! We read several of his publications! We are sorry to learn today that he has passed on! We are unable to attend his wake or funeral! God bless you, Karen, and family! His memory lives on!

Karen and family, Knowing Eric through the Danish Club has been a privilege and a blessing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow.

I met Eric just in the recent past years but we had some terrific interactions and enlightening conversations. I came to admire his dedication to our country and our people and the work he did to help others. He was a special person and I will mis him.

Eric was a one of a kind man. He had a great active mind that was always analysing events. He always had a great story. He loved Karen and called her the love of his life. I will miss him.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Praying that God will give all of you strength and peace of mind during this difficult time.
