Eric M. Johnson Jr.

Eric Maurice Johnson Jr., 24, of McKeesport, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, in McKeesport. He was born June 3, 1991, in McKeesport, son of Eric Maurice Johnson Sr. and Darlene Stuvaints, both of McKeesport. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School. He was a part of the Salvation Army Fellowship in McKeesport and worked in the McKeesport Salvation Army Kitchen serving the homeless. Eric enjoyed playing all kinds of sports. Surviving are his parents; brothers, David Stuvaints and Malik Short, both of McKeesport; sister, Lasha Johnson, of Pittsburgh; grandmother, Rose Marie Foster, of McKeesport; great-grandfather, James M. Foster, of Clairton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by sister, Kia Johnson; and grandfather, Benjamin R. Johnson.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at the Trinity Church of God in Christ, 2216 Jenny Lind St., McKeesport, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, with Bishop James M. Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. Local arrangements by the ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME INC., McKeesport.
