Eric Kinling Obituary
Born on August 4, 1947 in Catonsville, MD, Eric was a true local at heart. He was a 1965 graduate of Catonsville High School, earned his bachelor's degree from Towson State College, and only left Catonsville to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to working as a teacher and salesman, Eric served as the Heritage Community Association's president for more than a decade and was a referee for local and college football, basketball, and baseball leagues.
Eric is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan; sons Chris and Nick and their partners Sarah and Jayme; grandchildren Anna and Casey; and siblings, Fred, Larry, and Laura.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.

Remembering Eric today brings back special memories of him and his wife Susan visiting his mom at the N.H. Where I worked. Such a nice person with a great sense of humor!! He is missed by all who knew him. Always in my prayers.Kimmie

I am so saddened by the passing of Eric. He´s one of the nicest persons I have ever met. Eric and his wife Susan would visit often to see his sweet mother at the Nursing home where I worked. They were always willing to give a helping hand if needed. I will always remember all the fun and laughter we all shared! He will be missed by ALL who had the pleasure of knowing him. Kimberly Helvig
