Eric S. Luckadoo, born on March 13, 1961, passed away on January 25, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by loved ones.

Eric was a devoted husband to his wife, Bonny Luckadoo, and a father to his two sons, Tyler Luckadoo and Joshua Luckadoo. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Mayhue and Basel Leland Luckadoo, along with his stepfather, Richard Mayhue.

Eric found immense joy in gardening and music-two passions that brought him peace throughout his life. His faith was the cornerstone of his character; he was deeply devoted to his church and drew strength from his relationship with Jesus.

A service to honor Eric's life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM at BridgePoint Church - Downtown St. Petersburg Campus, located at 737 3rd Ave N., St. Petersburg, FL 33701. A lunch reception will follow the service.

Eric was an absolute pleasure to be around. From the first time we met at Special Data, we were instant friends and always wanted to hang out. Regardless if he was teaching me how to grow strawberries or playing dice and listening to his old albums, he always had a smile on his face. He would come running if I was ever in need. He and Bonny were the best of friends and together they made great things happen. Rest easy my dear friend. You are loved more than you know and will be missed forever .

I am Eric´s niece on my moms side of the family - Uncle Eric was always kind hearted & was stern in the truths he shared by faith in Jesus Christ. I was blessed to have visited him in FL a few years ago with my twins girls & husband for lunch and I will now forever cherish those conversations & advice he shared. Thankfully we kept up a relationship through phone calls - I spoke with him a week before he passed on the phone and he was always just checking in out of love. He always made me chuckle and I will miss him dearly. I know he is in a much better place, a place of eternal rest with the King of Kings.

My favorite memory with Eric was, George Robinson, Leilani huddy and myself all went to Johnstown to see Ozzy Osbourne in concert LOL we had such a good time we ended up in Maryland with a drinking age was 18 so we took advantage. The car wouldn't start his mom was none too happy to drive the whole way to Maryland to pick us all up, God bless her. God bless Eric, he was a wonderful guy.
