CHILLICOTHE: Eric Dean May, 57, of Chillicothe, died 7:40 a.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence.

He was born August 2, 1959 in Rochester, PA to Harold and Mary Jeter May both who survive.

Also surviving are his wife, Kristin J. Lambert, of Chillicothe; children, Brendan May and Brittany Dean May, both of Charlotte, NC; Shannon Elizabeth Liggins, Wilmington, NC, Brylan Henderson May, Columbus, OH, Kyle Alexander May, Alexis Sierra May, Sydney Erin May, and Carson Lee May, all of Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Davian May, Omir Stevenson, Kyia May and December May; sisters, Sybil Pennix and Nikki May, both of Atlanta, GA; aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Eric worked at the Chillicothe VAMC as a Community Re-Entry Specialist. He was a huge fan and supporter of Chillicothe Cavalier Youth Athletic, and avid Cleveland Browns and LA Laker fan. He attended Geneva College and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Thru all his activities he had many "sons and daughters" whom he loved like his own.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Zion Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at Zion Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
