Eric NELSON Obituary
June 30, 1929 – Rosedale, Alberta
August 11, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta
Eric Nelson, beloved husband of Ethel of Calgary, passed away on August 11, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Eric is survived by his children, Brian and his wife Kelly, and Carolyn; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Tayler, and Eden. He was predeceased by his wife Ethel in 2011. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the caring staff of the Southwood Care Centre, specifically everyone on the Evergreen Unit. There will be a private Celebration of Eric's Life held at a later date. In living memory of Eric Nelson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

I lived in Rosedale down the alley from the Nelson's. My memory of Eric is of him in his sailor suit that impressed me. I was younger than Eric, more like Lamar's age. Would you mind getting him to get in touch with me.

Carol and Family...I am truly sorry to hear that my old friend has left us many
coffee breaks have gone by at the old Silver Dollar starting back in 1985 when I arrived in Calgary and up until Eric wasn,t able to attend any more.

I am truly sorry for your loss....I am not a family friend or anything like that, I just felt so compelled to tell you what a marvelous picture this is....Mr. Nelson's smile is contagious and seeing it pop out from my computer screen filled me with happiness...this smile makes me believe he left his loved ones with beautiful memories....namaste
