Eric was a fine example to the kids at Walled Lake Central High. He was patient and understanding, compassionate and caring. He truly cared about the kids and they knew it. He will be greatly missed.

Our family was very fortunate to know Deputy Eric Overall during the time period in his career where he was the Deputy on duty at Walled Lake Central High School. We communicated even after our daughter and son graduated. He always put the interest of the students at the top of his priority list and was so good at helping students work through their challenges, and always had a smile and a hello for everyone. I have his cell number in my contact list and even though I will no longer be able to call him, his name will remain there for the rest of my life to remind me of a great man & our memories and thankfulness for what he's done. Deputy Eric Overall was a great Deputy, a great man, and a great mentor. God Bless You Deputy Overall. The world was a better place with you in it!!
