He attended Tomas Edison High School. He was employed with Varian Associates.
He is survived by 3 siblings: Susan (Daniel) Hoffman, Marc (Irene) Schmitt and Karl (Zenaidee) Schmitt.
5 nieces and nephews: Matthew Schmitt, Timothy Hayes, Alicia Gomez, Samantha Schmitt, Andrew Schmitt.
4 great nieces and nephews: Jimmy Gomez, Apple Gomez, Kayda Schmitt, Isabella Schmitt and lifelong friend Eric Carpenter.
Grave side services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 13, 2025 in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford NY.
