I was wondering what happened to Kim after he left St. Andrews in 1975. I remembered he was going to Glendale, but I lost track as '75 was when I graduated high school and went off to Berkeley.
I am so thankful for the grounding in Christ that Kim gave me in junior high at St. Andrews. Although I went to Mariners more in high school because St Andrews was heavily Newport Harbor kids, my family stayed at St Andrews and he always welcomed me the times I went with my family to St Andrews.
Kim was so immensely talented, had such an amazing heart for God and led by example, not just words.
Rest in peace and I look forward to seeing you again.

Kim was the led who to Christ and mentored me throughout his time at Grandview. I can wholly say who I am as a man of God is because of his mentoring. Bless him and his family.

I had rejected church for a few years as a young person, but started going to Grandview because of a "girl." Kim was the pastor who welcomed me, tolerated the difficult questions. He modeled Jesus and for that I am grateful. It was a privilege to have him perform the wedding 7 years later for me and that "girl"- Gayle. He was a good good man.

Because of Kim's love for the Lord my wife, Beverly, and I have been following Jesus ever since our days at Grandview where we surrendered our lives to Jesus. We are so thankful and pray for all of Kim's family. Kim lived a life of serving and was a true example to many.

Will miss the brisk banter and dreadful family jokes exchanged with my Cousin Kim. We share a lifetime of jolly and precious memories. He's undoubtedly auditioning angels for his new band.
