Liebe Linda, lieber Achim,
mit groem Bedauern habe ich heute vom Tod Eures lieben Vaters erfahren.
Mein Onkel Willi aus Berlin wollte ihn einfach mal wieder anrufen, hatte ihn aber nicht
erreicht. Der Telefonanschluss war bereits abgemeldet. Daraufhin habe ich im Internet
nachgeschaut u.bin mit Entsetzen auf die Todesanzeige gestoen.
Ich habe die groartigen Menschen Elfriede u. Erich vor 26 Jahren kennengerlernt. Ich war damals für 3 Wochen mit meiner Tante Hilde Büchel bei ihnen zu Besuch. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.
Auch Euch durften wir kennenlernen. Amber war damals noch klein.
Elfriede und Erich haben uns einige Jahre später in Deutschland
besucht. Wir haben uns nur 2 mal im Leben gesehen, fühlten uns doch immer sehr verbunden.
Ich habe es immer bedauert, dass wir so weit voneinander entfernt lebten.
Ich bin in diesen schweren Stunden in Gedanken bei Euch.

Dear Linda, dear Achim,
We have just returned from our vacation and have experienced with consternation the death of your father. We would like to tell you, also in the name of Erika and Ferdinand, how much we feel with you. Difficult is to lose a dear people. But consolation is, your father, at the side of your mother, to be cared for with God. Deeply touched we would like to express our condolences.

Liebe Linda, lieber Achim, liebe Familien Scherer / Lulich. Mit Betroffenheit haben wir gestern Abend vom Tod unseres "Onkel Erich" erfahren. Wir sind gestern Abend erst aus einem dreiwöchigen Urlaub aus Lanzarote/Spain zurückgekehrt. Möge es für euch ein Trost sein, dass Erich Scherer ein langes, interessantes Leben geführt hat. Vielleicht treffen sich Elfriede und Erich sowie meine Eltern Ilse und Günter in einer anderen Welt, schauen uns zu und passen auf alle Familien auf ... Die Vier haben trotz der groen Entfernung viel miteinander unternommen und haben sich sehr verbunden gefühlt. Wir wünschen viel Kraft für die nächste Zeit und senden ganz traurig Grüe aus der alten Heimat Wilhelmshaven / Deutschland. Olaf & Angela Lindner mit Merle und Gesche
