Ormond Beach - Ericka L. Dane, 18 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

She was born May 10, 2002 in Daytona Beach to Thomas and Penny (Vollenbroek) Dane.

Ericka graduated from Seabreeze High School where she was an outstanding soccer player "Soccer Beast" but also established many life long friends. She was then accepted at Daytona State College where she continued her soccer dominance with the Daytona State Women's Soccer Team. She shared her talents to teaching others as she coached recreational soccer for the Ormond Beach Soccer Club.

Ericka loved the beach, Tik-Tok with her best friends and sister. She loved loop cruises and sushi as well as her snuggling with her pug, Paisley.

Survivors include her mother Penny Dane and her boyfriend John Morris of Ormond Beach, her father Tom and his fiancé Kelly Hill of Ormond Beach, her little sister, Nickole Dane and brother, Tommy Dane, her grandmother, Meme who loved and adored her, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, teammates and hundreds of friends that will dearly miss her. Especially her Coach Brett who taught her the love of soccer and every player she touched at Daytona State women's soccer and the Ormond Beach Soccer Club and of course her pug, Paisley. She was preceded in death by her Godmother, Jackie Cain, aunts, Alice and Georgina, and Uncle Timmy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30th between the hours of 2-4 & 5-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, March 31st at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 Nova Rd., Ormond Beach with interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach. Condolences for the family may be shared at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
