I am saddened to have just heard of Erik's passing. Although it has been many years since we have spoken, Erik was an important part of a wonderful time in my life. He was an irreplaceable member of the NY Metro DeMolay/Triangle/Rainbow gang of the late 70's and early 80's. Erik was sweet, fun, funny and smart and I will always think of him as the "State Master Wabbit". Rest in peace, my friend.

I was a member of BNI with Erik for 4 years and was a friend of his as well. All of us at Maple Grove Referral Partners are saddened and shocked by his passing. He was a kind, generous and loving man who always had his hand out to the needy. He will be truly missed by all he surrounded himself with, as well as us.
God speed Erik, watch over us, and keep us on the right track. I hope you drove your Jaguar to the pearly gates!!!!

There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about you. You were always so much fun to hang out with. Your distinctive laugh, your crooked front tooth in your big smile, your sense of humor. I have such great memories of really good times we had. I always looked up to you and I always looked forward to seeing you, that will not ever change. May you rest in peace, my dear cousin, until we meet again.

To the family of Erik,
I am very sorry for your loss. I graduated with Erik from Island Trees High School in 1977 and it saddens me to see another classmate pass away so young. May he rest in peace.

Fisrt time I met Eric was at the Maple Grove Office when I just started working with RE/MAX back in 2007. We where sitting next to each other working on the computer and he welcomend me so friendly, knowing I was new to the office. And everytime after that moment I really liked to talk to him and I respected him alot. He was such a wonderful, warm hearted person. Everybody liked him. Now I am sitting here with tears in my eyes, knowing that we will not see him ever again.
God bless his family.

Erik had a great smile, and could always tell that he truly cared. He helped us brothers at the Lodge so much. Thank you for appointing me to the Line, and all of your continuing support. You were a true friend, strong supporter of the Masons and it's charities for the children, and always there for others. Thank you Erik, you will be missed.

Gayl, Lesley, Aaron & Amanda:

I’ve been searching for the right words but there doesn’t seem to be any. All I know is how Erik touched our lives and how I will remember him. I will remember the Cub Scout Dad on the October hayrides, the May bike rides, and the freezing June family camp outs. I remember the Erik who never forgot my son’s birthday after I chided him for leaving it out of the Scout newsletter one year and how he put together a slide show that made me cry when our boys “graduated” from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. And, I remember how easy he was to talk to – even when it was about nothing at all. Peace and Love to all of you.

I was saddened to hear the news of Eriks passing. I worked with him over the last several years at Re/Max Associates Plus. He was always there with a smile! He always made a point to remember the little things, to ask about or to make mention. Not a day went by that he didn't take a moment to poke his head into my office and just say hello and how are ya! He was a genuine person, I had enourmous respect for him. He will be missed! My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.

It is the good times that I wish to remember at this time of sorrow. We were tent mates at the many scout campouts that we attended. They were so much fun; filled with laughter and humor. I also recall the occasional golf round that we would play. It is those memories that I will always cherish. Be at peace, my friend.

January 24, 2009

You were my younger cousin and a trusted friend.
I’m so sorry for your suffering and tragic end.
You were loved by many and feared by some.
Was your moral platform too burdensome?
No bottle deep for solace has yet been designed
to quell the sorrow of folks who are left behind.
Rest now in peace from this tormenting Sea
as we bid farewell and trust in God’s serenity.
