Ernest Ballard Obituary
Ernest was born July 23, 1934 in Rockingham, North Carolina to Minnie Lou McGee Ballard and Ernest Osborne Ballard.
Ernest was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a hydraulic mechanic for the Kentucky Utilities company for over 25 years. He and his family served Christ as members of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley SC.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Ballard; daughter Joy Lynn Harrison; and son-in-law Greg Harrison; grandchild Valancy Lane Harrison and grandchild Delta Rae Harrison all of Easley SC.
Ernest was preceded in death by; father Ernest Osborne Ballard and mother Minnie Lou McGee Ballard.
A visitation for Ernest will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service conducted by Dr. David Gallamore will occur Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM in The Chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A burial will occur following the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
