OBITUARY

ERNEST STIELER CROUCH (1974-2023)

Ernest Stieler Crouch, 48, of Frisco Texas passed away at Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas on June 5, 2023, after a brief illness. Ernest was born on August 7, 1974, to Kerry Stieler Crouch and Karen Klipple Crouch. His grandparents were Helen (Shatzie) Stieler Crouch and John Russell (Hondo) Crouch of Fredericksburg, and Georgie and Phillip Klipple of Austin.

Ernest grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and an emphasis in Chemistry and Mathematics. He earned a master's degree in business from the University of Dallas.

He worked for Airgas, Air Liquide, Linde Gas and other companies in the industry where he developed his expertise in providing oxygen, nitrogen and other specialty gases to hospitals.

Ernest loved the outdoors. He was an avid long-distance runner, skier, bicyclist, camper, and explorer. He also liked hunting, country music, and two-stepping. But most of all, he loved his children and enjoyed being with them and telling others about their achievements.

A devout Christian, he attended Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano where he led adult bible studies.

Ernest is survived by his son Austin (14), daughter Addison (10) of Frisco, and sister Daphne Crouch of Bastrop. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.

A memorial service will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX Friday, June 16, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Hope Chapel.

Ernest will be interred at the Crouch Family cemetery alongside his father, grandmother, and grandfather. A celebration of Ernest's life will follow in Fredericksburg, TX Sunday July 9, 2023 (location and time TBD)

In lieu of flowers, a fundraiser has been established for funeral costs, the education of Ernest's children; Austin (14) and Addison (10), as well as therapy during this difficult time. We truly appreciate a contribution of any amount. Please click/copy/paste the link below. Thank you.

So sorry the world has lost a kind young man. Ernest attended Texas Tech and knew my sons. I enjoyed visiting with Ernest at Tech tailgates. Always thoughtful and caring.

Ernie was a bright, active young man. Articulate, gentle. He was proud of his kids´ accomplishments in music and athletics. He loved running cross country here on the ranch. A nephew, cousin, grandson. He´ll be missed by our Patterson family- Becky Crouch Patterson
