Ernest "Ernie" M. Kline
Ernie, age 80, died peacefully with his family at his side at Colby Providence Everett Medical Center, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, to parents Ernest L. and Anna (Zich) Kline.

Ernie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara; sons, Duane (Judy) and Dwight (Patty) Kline; grandchildren, Susan (Travis) Tripp, Laurie (Sean) Moran, Jayna Kline, and Nick Kline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deep thanks to the caring staff of Bethany at Pacific nursing home, Colby Providence Everett Medical Center and Providence Hospice for all their support and care in Ernie's final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ernie's memory to Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County, or to Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, P.O. Box 56, Mercer Island, WA 98040.

I did not know Mr. Kline well myself, having only met once or twice, but his name is a familiar one from my life. My father, Charles Barr, worked with Ernie for many years at the Street Dept. He always spoke very highly of Ernie and enjoyed working with him. My prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Kline.

Barb, Del and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. We had been talking about you and Ernie just the other day. But if there is any consolation, Ernie is no longer locked in a body that will not respond. I hope he is soaring with the angels. Peace to you and your boys. Love, Nan and Del Fischer.
