William Heagy Obituary
William Edward "Billy" Heagy, 53, of Littlestown, Pa., died unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at his home.
Born May 29, 1959, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Melvin Edward and Ella Jane Myers Heagy. He was the husband of Susan Parson Heagy, his wife of 18 years.
He attended Westminster High School. He was a carpenter by trade for more than 30 years. He was previously a member of Sons of the American Legion Westminster Post #31. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horse racing, watching the Ravens and enjoyed spending time with his dogs Jake and Abby.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son Kevin W. Heagy; daughter Rachel L. Heagy; stepsons Daniel Spicer and Ryan Spicer; siblings and spouses, Connie and Ralph Green; Cindy and Patrick Hauke; Vicky Taylor and Gina Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by infant daughter Amber and niece Megan Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Deacon Charles Barnhart Jr. officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray funeral costs may be sent to Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157.

On friday, nov. 30, 2012 our family lost such an amazing person. Words can not explain our heartache. But we know he is at peace and with his family in heaven. He can now join our angels so he can watch over us and keep us safe. I will miss you soooo much uncle billy. I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for being such a great uncle to my children and myself. We could not have asked for a better uncle than you. This is not goodbye, this is see you when god calls us home. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!
