Ernestyne "Ernie" was born on February 2, 1928 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Ernest & Etta Chriss. She passed away on July 28, 2010 in Visalia, CA at the age of 82 years. She grew up in Whitt, Texas and attended school there. The family migrated to California in 1945 and she has lived in Visalia since 1950. Ernie worked as an Office Manager / Bookkeeper over 55 years before retirement. Upon retirement, Ernie and husband, Truman, traveled extensively across the United States making many friends. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Truman Mullins, Visalia; children, Judy Cunningham, Three Rivers, Sandra Cochran, Las Vegas, Nevada and John Mullins, Visalia; sisters, Jean Wafford, Rockford, IL and Melbra Bamford, Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren, Kristen Crespin and Julie Cunningham. Private interment will be held at Visalia District Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.miller chapel.com. Arrangements by: Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia.

Dear Truman, Judy, Sandy, and John. I will always remember Ernie's love of life and how she enjoyed the little things. I pray the Lord will guide you through this difficult time and grant you peace. She is truly one of his jewels and I will remember her in my prayers.
