Errol was born on October 28, 1935 and passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. Errol was a resident of East Dixfield, Maine at the time of passing. He was born in Carthage, Oct. 28, 1935, a son of John and Arlene (Boston) Hammond and received his education in Carthage and Dixfield schools and entered the US Navy prior to his high school graduation and served for over 20 years. Public memorial services will be held on Thursday at 2 pm at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington. Private interment will be at the East Dixfield Cemetery. So sorry to hear of loss, I remember Errol as a hard worker, and someone who stook to his guns. He was dependable , and a good friend . I worked with him in jay, maine. ,and traveled with him on various jobs in mass. working in the pipe fitting industry. He will be missed greatly.
