Ethan DIZON Obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ethan Tomas Dizon on January 8, 2017 at the age of 14.
He will forever be loved and remembered by his parents, Tomas and Peggy; brother, Nicholas Cullum; sister, Chloe; grandparents, Ted, Celina and Michael; uncles, Tim (Christiana) and Noel (Ethan's godfather) and godmother, Amanda Santos; furry siblings, Furby and Fido; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Ethan was predeceased by his loving aunt, Mercedes, who always counted him as her favourite nephew.
Ethan was an athlete, an avid lover of music and strived to bring humour and laughter into the lives of others.
Visitation and a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Edmonton Chinese Baptist Church, 11112-109 Avenue, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 4814 Meridian Street, Edmonton.
The family will be making a one-time donation in Ethan's memory to the Palliative Homecare team for the purchase of equipment and supplies for the less fortunate. If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, please direct the donation to the Dizon family.

We send our deepest condolences. We knew Ethan from the sidelines, watching him play soccer. We were amazed by his talent and attitude. Hearing of his passing has left us with an indescribable emptiness.

Peggy and Tomas, you were excellent parents and very supportive of my efforts in the classroom. I always enjoyed my time with Ethan in his grade three year. His smile lit up my classroom. When I asked him to help other students, he gladly would. He had friends in the classroom, on the playground, and I noticed young people always seemed to be attracted to him. He didn't get to be this student that I loved having in the classroom without the guidance and support from you his parents. I am very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.
