ETHAN NAPIER
LAFOLLETTE, Tenn. — Ethan Wesley Napier, 15, of Lafollette, TN, passed away Monday, November 4, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
He was born February 13, 1998 in Corbin, KY, the son of April Napier and Dusty Paul.
He was a member of the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle and was a freshman at Campbell County High School where he was member of the Mighty Cougar Marching Band.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Glen Napier.
He is survived by the following members of his family:
Parents: April Napier and Dusty Paul both of Lafollette, TN;
Grandparents: Jean Napier of Pineville, KY, Connie and Gene Paul of Lafollette, TN;
Great Grandmother: Bertha Napier of Pineville, KY;
Grandparents: Beverly and Charles Foley of Barbourville, KY;
Aunts: Sissy Kim (Casey) Watkins of Knoxville, TN, DeAnna (Russ) Dillingham of Bowling Green, KY;
Uncle: Derrick Jerome (Angie) Leger of Corbin, KY;
And a host of aunts, uncles and cousins for whom Ethan held a special place in his heart.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Grubbs presiding.
Music will be provided by Breanna and Peggy, Jerome Leger, Michelle Sziksai and Cory Napier.
Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens at East Pineville.
Pallbearers will be Toby Paul, Nick Napier, Kevin Napier, Cory Napier, Cody Napier, Max Pierce, Chucky Napier and Brian Napier.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Might Cougars Marching Band.
The family received friends from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, at the Creech Funeral Home. Online condolences and guestbook are available at www.creechfh.com

My thoughts and prayers are with you, April. Ethan was such a well mannered, respected young man who fully enjoyed life. You are a great example of how all mothers should be towards their children. I've never met another mom who loved their child more than you with Ethan. I loved teasing Ethan about KY basketball, as I tried to say that UT was better than UK. He would get so mad at me. I loved teasing him! He's a part of my heart. I love you, and I am praying that God gives you a sweet peace about Ethan's passing. What a blessing Ethan has been to our school and community!
