De Gaetano, Ethel LOCKPORT Ethel Lillian De Gaetano (nee Kaufman) born in Albany in 1916 and died peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She will be missed by her many loving nieces and nephews, and their families. She was the last of six children, of Benjamin and Sadie Kaufman. Predeceased by Charles, Esther, Rebecca, Ida and Edith. Survived by her son, Richard; and her dear friend, Helene Marmulstein. She found wonder and pleasure in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Artist, mother, dancer, sister, office professional, aunt, swimmer, grandmother, and all around life-affirming personality, she gave generously of herself to many friends and family members. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ethel's life, admire her paintings, and share memories from 122 p.m.on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave., Albany, NY (518) 438-1002. In lieu of flowers and donations, please share an afternoon of your time with a senior in your local seniors home/center or assisted-living facility.
