My beloved Aunt Ethel was a very, very special woman. I am so thankful to her for always sharing with me so much of who she was - - a beautiful woman inside and out.
One "gift" I will always treasure is a party she hosted for my graduation from the University of Pittsburgh. A huge entourage arrived from Harrisburg to celebrate and she made sure this day was special.
I will miss my visits with her whenever I head to Pitt for football games - - it won't be the same. Fortunately I have many pleasant memories and the precious family history that she shared.
Thank you for loving me as only you could,

No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-bye. Don't think of her as gone away, her journey has just begun. May you find peace in God's promise of eternal life.
