Ethel was a second mother to me from when I met Ed in grade 10 to when I lived with Fred and her in Southey during my teacher internship. Ethel loved to talk and I always enjoyed listening to her. Knowing my friend Ed made it possible for me to know Ethel and for that I am thankful. She will be missed.

Aunt Ethyl was a whirlwind of an aunt but with great depth - a legend. We saw little of her in recent years, but I know that my siblings and I will think of her fondly. Condolences to the family and friends she leaves behind.

Sorry to hear of Ethel's passing. One thing I remember her saying is when treating children treat them all different because they are all different; which makes sense. Jack, Nancy & Jeff Cutting

Aunt Ethel will always be remembered for the person she was, for her sense of right, and most of all understanding.

Sorry to hear of Ethel's passing. She one of many of my first cousins and I think probably the most senior! She lived a great and fulfilling life and was a blessing to many. May her immediate family be encouraged and supported at this time by the Lord's presence. Wonderful to know we will meet again. Paul Phibbs

Our condolences to your families, she is the last of our older generation, and she will be missed. Thankfully she has recorded much of the family history... not everyone has that!
