The passing of Ethel 'Lorraine' Johnson, of Outlook, Sask., occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Outlook & District Health Centre, at the age of 92 years. Lorraine is lovingly remembered by her family: Sheila (Peter) Farden of Davidson, LLoyd Johnson of Outlook, and Donna Mae (John) McGonigal of Saskatoon; daughter-in-law, Bev Johnson of Red Deer, AB; 6 grandchildren, Lori (Jim) Paterson, Kory (Andrea) Farden, Kevin (Terra) Farden, Kelly (Melissa) Farden, Jason McGonigal and Bradley McGonigal; 9 great- grandchildren, Ami, Liam, Keagan, Kieran, Tyce, Tayan, Evalee, Lily, & Freya; 1 sister, Sylvia Foret; 1 brother, Glenn (Eileen) Holmlund; 4 sisters-in-law, Joan Holmlund, Pat Holmlund, Selma Johnson, and Evelyn Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Orval (2003); sons, Allen (2009), Duane (1943) and Dale (1949); 3 brothers, Myron (Doris) Holmlund, Ken Holmlund, & Blaine Holmlund; 4 brothers-in-law, Norman Johnson, Harold Johnson, Gordon Johnson, and Emile Foret; and by sister-in-law, Judith (Harry) McCuaig. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Valley Lutheran Church, south of Broderick, Sask. with Rev. Ron Bestvater officiating. Interment will take place in the Green Valley Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: The Outlook Variety Place (A charity close to Lorraine's heart), or a charity of one's choice.
