Ethel Sherwood Obituary
Predeceased by loving husband of 55 years, Irvin; son Ron; brothers Clifford, Ted, and Gordon, Ethel is survived by son Gary (Bev); daughter Sharon (Bill); daughter-in-law Dorothy; grandchildren Deb, Rick, Brent, Sherri, Tim, Brenda, Tammy, and Troy; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
Ethel was the true matriarch of the family. She was always full of life and was a tremendous influence on all the lives she touched. Although serious at times, Ethel had a great sense of humour and loved gossip. She was always the one that her family would turn to for advice. Her true joy in life was her family, whom she truly adored. Ethel will be greatly missed, but it brings comfort to her family to know that she is on to her next adventure.
The family wishes to thank Dr. White and the caregivers for all the care and support that was given to Ethel.
A Tea will be held in Ethel's memory on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Italian Hall, 4065 6th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC from 5 – 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ethel's memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca

I have great memories of spending time with Ethel when I worked at Sherwood's. She would actually make my lunch and up I would go for a sandwich, cup of tea and lots of laughs...She was a great lady and you were lucky to have had her in your lives.
