Gene was an extroidnary person! He encouraged to me to follow my dreams because there are no limits. He showed me a world I would have never been able to experience without his belief in me and his encouragement. He always stessed the importance of reading and encouraging children to read. I think of him and the important lessens he taught me often as I raised my own child. Thank you Taresa, Cris and Joy for sharing such an person with me. I will always miss him but never forget him!

Mr. Basilici taught me the true meaning of family by allowing me the honor of being a part of his...I can only hope he realized how much the time I spent with him, Mrs.Basilici, Cris, and one of the most important people in my life my dearest friend Joy ment to me.
Knowing the Basilici family and the time I spent with them helped to shape my life and the person I am.
I am a better person as are many in this world for having know Eugene Basilici...I will miss him dearly......
