We just learned of Eugene's passing now, and are deeply saddened. Our most sincere condolences to Doreen, Charlotte, Wesley, & Cynthia and extended family. The fond memories of visiting with the Sadoways in Hairy Hill,and the warmth felt within their household, will always be dear to our hearts. Indeed, Eugene was a gentleman, a wise teacher, and a very kind man, with a great sense of humour. He will be missed. We send our heartfelt sympathies to Doreen & all the family. May God Bless You.

I just came across this today. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Sadoway family. I haven't seen Eugene for over 30 years now but my memories were of a quiet and dignified man who loved his family dearly.

Those wonderful memories of my Eugene come back to me often. The fishing, the hunting, the camping, the road trips and the many joyful visits with him and family in Hairy Hill. I was blessed to know him, my favourite uncle. He will be missed.

Condolences to Family and Friends of Eugene. The few days in hospital as roommates, showed so much love and respect. He touched many people, even a nurse, who softly sang a few lines of " Edelweiss " as he left the room. Your in our prayers.

It was an honour to know this wonderful man. He always made me laugh and he had such a quiet dignified quality about him.
