My sincere condolences for the loss of Gene to his family and friends.
I went to Grade School with Gene at St. James School, Mt. Rainier, MD. He was always such a nice guy and occasionally I'd run into him at a union event. It seemed to me he hadn't changed, but was still the nice gentlemanly guy I went to school with.
I'll remember him in my prayers.
