Eugene SEABOLT Obituary
70, of Palm Harbor, formerly of Edgewater, MD and raised in Mt. Rainier, MD, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at Spa Creek Center in Annapolis, MD. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Philip B. and Margaret M. Seabolt, and one sister, Veronica Blackstock. Surviving him are his wife of 22 years, Alexandra L.P. Seabolt; his former wife, Christine Seabolt; three children, Brady Seabolt, Gina Ritter, and Katie Jordan; two stepchildren, Eliza Evans and Lorien Covelly; one sister, Pat Gallagher; two grandchildren, Abigail Ritter and Jaxson Jordan. He is also survived by a tight knit group of friends from Mt. Rainier, MD. A viewing will be held Sunday, Nov. 16, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 17 at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to Melanoma Awareness, American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice. My sincere condolences for the loss of Gene to his family and friends.
I went to Grade School with Gene at St. James School, Mt. Rainier, MD. He was always such a nice guy and occasionally I'd run into him at a union event. It seemed to me he hadn't changed, but was still the nice gentlemanly guy I went to school with.
I'll remember him in my prayers.
