Dear Frankie ~ I was sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. It is never easy for a child to say that final goodbye to a parent - no matter how old we are. I truly understand what you are going through - I recently lost my own Mother, also aged 88 and I find that only Time helps to ease the pain. Our only consolation is that our Mothers are not in pain and they are happily reuinited with their own mothers for the first time in many, many years. I know there aren't any clocks or calendars in Heaven, but maybe they celebrate Mother's Day there! Please know that I will keep you close in thought and prayer during this difficult time, as well as Michelle and the children. Your mother is only just a prayer away, so don't be afraid to "talk" to her daily - she will be there for you.
Love & Prayers, Roberta Wheeler

Hi Claudia, My sincere condolences to you and your family.I remember both your parents and how seeing them daily in the neighborhood was so comforting and familiar.Below the tracks, as our little neighborhood was known as back then was such a close community.Having the lovely people of Italy come here to live and share our community was such an eye opener and learning experience for all of us.Your parents as I remember them were a very proud people and dedicated hard working family people.Even though I wasn't catholic, I would attend St.Raymond's church sometimes with Joan Kennaway and upon coming out of church I would many times walk up Wilson and see your Mom with her apron on and your Dad in the driveway working.I would smell beautiful italian cooking as I walked to Upper Lachine. Those are memories one doesn't forget. In the days of the spaghetti church suppers many many years ago I remembered seeing your Mom there helping out.I know she loved her church very much.Your mom always smiled at me and said hello, even though I know she didn't know my name, just my face.Claudia you and your brothers were so blessed to have this wonderful mother........what lessons you learned from her about integrity, love and hard work. Please let your brothers know how sorry I am at this great loss. There are no words to comfort your family except to let you know that both your Mom and Dad had a lot of influence on people they hardly knew, like myself and countless others. We have been blessed. We will all meet again in heaven......surely.Sincerely Debbie Roberts

Dear Joe, Jack, Attillio, Frank and Claudia.

My deep regret for your loss and my sincere condolences.
When I saw her name on the list, my heart skipped a beat and I put my hands together and began to pray.

I have indelible memories of your mother. My favorite scenes are of Eva, in the kitchen, always preparing something to eat and chatting up a storm and being funny, inquisitive and caring.
I have not seen her in years yet her beauty, her kindness and warm hugs, together with your father Giovanni's gentleness and steadfastness are memories that I cherish always.

I pray with you, I pray for you and I pray to the angels that accompany Eva to her resting place next our Jesus, that she loved so much.

My love and condolences

To the Family Of Eva Ciampini,

My deepest condolences, to all your family at this time. Your mother Eva, shared many great stories with me, At Catherine Booth Hospital, when my father, Nazzareno Castelli, was in there at the same time as she was, about both, my mother Maria Ciampini Castelli and father, about the days of their youth in Italy.

I am sure that she will be greatly missed by all your family.

With Heartfelt Condolences,
