Eva Cruz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 16, 2025.
Eva Mandujano Cruz passed away on February 13, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 25, 1945, Eva lived a life filled with love, generosity, and adventure. She was raised in a large family and carried that deep sense of connection into raising her own family with unwavering strength and affection. Her faith was central to her life-she attended church regularly and cherished moments spent with loved ones and friends.

Eva had a passion for travel and reading, a love for swimming, and a heart always inclined to help others. She found joy in flowers, shared meals, and most especially in the company of those she held dear. Her presence was unforgettable, commanding attention with her warmth, wisdom, and undeniable spirit. A woman of strength and grace, she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse; her daughters Rosie, Lupe, and Frances; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Her daughter Margaret preceded her in passing-a loss that remained deeply felt throughout Eva's life.

A service to honor Eva's life was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on South Grimes on March 14, 2025. She was laid to rest at the Mandujano family cemetery in Elmendorf, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity or cause of your choosing in her name.
