Eva Fairchild Franks, age 94, passed away on July 30, 2021. Wife of the late Ivan Trenton Franks, Sr. and Mother of Trenton Franks (Jackie Sue), Diane Franks McRaney (Lynn), Janet Franks Restarick (Henry), and Elizabeth Franks McIlwain (Randall). Grandmother of Traci Franks Droddy (Johnny), Casey McRaney Urquizu (Mike), and Jennifer McRaney Stafford (Brian). Great grandmother of Elyssa and Trinity Coker; Tyler and Luke Stafford; Jack (Catherine), Kate, and Emma Urquizu; Brittney and Brooke Droddy. Great great grandmother of Addison Bustamento. Eva was born on June 26, 1927 in Bayou Paul, Louisiana to the late John James Fairchild, Sr. and the late Margaret Aline Bercegeay Fairchild. Sister of Anthony Fairchild (Frances) and the late John James Fairchild, Jr. (the late Lorraine). Eva was a registered nurse at Jo Ellen Smith Hospital in Algiers, West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, and Plaquemines Parish Hospital in Port Sulphur. She will be dearly missed by all. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10am. Visitation will begin at 9am. Graveside service will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Elmer, LA at 4 PM.
