EVA WHITTED UGLAND
GRIMSTAD, NORWAY - Eva Whitted Ugland, 77, of Grimstad, Norway and formerly of NY and NJ passed away on March 5, 2003 in Grimstad, Norway.She was born on October 7, 1925 in Ithaca, NY, daughter of the late Adolph and Gladys Whitted. Eva graduated from Ithaca High School in 1942. She became a Registered Nurse in 1945.She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gunnar Ugland; two daughters, Randi Leornardsen of Grimstad, Norway, and Kathleen Dahly of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Kristen Dahly of New Jersey and Gunnar Ugland of Norway; six brothers, John (Catherine) Whitted of Fulton, NY, Carl (Katherine) of Prescott, AZ, Gordon (Eleanor) Whitted of Newfield, Rudolph (Virginia) Whitted of Ithaca, E. Paul Whitted of Arizona, and S. Steve (Annie) Whitted of Eugene, Oregon; and one sister, Madeline (Daniel) Hopkins of Livingston, Texas. Eva is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Eva was predeceased by her brothers, Donald Clyde and Edward Whitted; and her sister, Gloria Hopkins.Funeral and burial services were held on March 13, 2003 in Norway.
