BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Brady 89 of Bossier City, LA will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Monroe Memorial Park Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Brady was born July 12, 1917 in Natchez, MS and passed away July 8, 2007 in Bossier City, LA. Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Brady; parents, William Butler and Elsie Lee McLemore Ellerbe; brothers, Willie Lee Ellerbe and Truman Audley Ellerbe and a grandson, Nicholas Daniel Brady. She was a former member of First Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Monroe. Mrs. Brady was a retired nurse.
Mrs. Brady is survived by a daughter, Wanda B. Allen and husband R.H., son, Dr. John Melvin Brady and wife Denise; sister, Dorothy Ellerbe Wade ; grandchildren, Randal Hue Allen, Aronda A. Thetford, Kristen Brady Williams, Ehren Shane Brady; great-grandchildren, Daniel Hue Allen, Eric Hue Allen, Alaina Christine Thetford, John Leslie Thetford II, Arika Lilley, Taylor Nicholas Williams; step-grandchildren, David Boykin and Christopher Boykin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers Rodney Wade, Bob Robinson, Don Ellerbe, Shane Brady, Eric Allen, and Randy Allen.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
