Evelyn Fern Oates Kinsey entered into rest peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Evelyn was born in Campbell, Missouri on January 11, 1924 to Bond Oates and Vallie Lowe. Strong willed and kind hearted, she loved gardening, all animals especially cats, and spending time with her family. A great cook as anyone who tasted her famous chicken and dumplings can attest to. Evelyn will greatly be missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Everett Eldon Kinsey, her parents Bond and Vallie Oates. Her two brothers, Wendell Oates and Billy Oates and her two sisters Jonelle Walker and Odelle Bullock.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Janet Kinsey Storey Pierson and husband Robert of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, her two sons, Gary Kinsey and wife Bernitta of Arlington, Texas and Larry Kinsey and wife Nora of Fort Worth, Texas. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Carrie Storey Brown of Ottuma, Iowa, Craig Storey and wife Angie of Somers, Wisconsin, Julie Baker and husband Artie of Amarillo, Texas, Bria Goff and husband Tanner of Rockwall, Texas, and Amber Capaul and husband James of Blytheville, Arkansas. Her 9 great grandchildren are Joshua Whitfield, Colten Baker, Kinsey Baker, Liam Goff, David Brooke, Bobbie Jo Brooke, Mariellen Brooke, Emily Weise and Nick Weise and 1 great great grandchild, Madison Whitfield.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012 with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A committal service at Moore Memorial Gardens will follow.
