Evelyn Miller Obituary
Evelyn was a devoted mother and is survived by her children: Philip Hattie of Nova Scotia, Dawn and Robert Scott of Nova Scotia, Richard and Nancy Miller of Weymouth, Melissa and Alan Donnelly of Hyde Park, Annmarie and Thomas Flaherty of South Boston, and Kirsten and Matthew Viens of Mansfield. She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and a beloved great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Evelyn was known for her deep compassion and dedication to caring for the elderly, a vocation she pursued for over 30 years. Her love of country music was a constant source of joy and comfort, resonating with her warm and nurturing spirit.
Evelyn was formerly married to John Miller of Dorchester and shared a long-term partnership with Thomas Drever, who was a significant part of her life.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Evelyn's life at a service on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Saint Anne Parish, located at 90 W. Milton Street, Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Visiting hours will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Evelyn's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a lasting impact on the lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever.

Evelyn was a fun, kind, generous, and wise woman. She was my friend. She always welcomed me into her home and shared her family with me. I will miss getting Evelyn's annual Christmas card in which she wished me a happy new year. I appreciated that she thought of me every year. Evelyn was truly a beautiful person. My deepest sympathy to her family.

My sincere condolences to family and friends as you mourn your loss. I work with Dawn and have Known her for most of my life. She looks so much like her lovely mother. May God comfort her.

Heaven gained a special angel this morning. Evelyn was such a big part of my life and absolutely adored my kids. She showed us unconditional love and helped this mama out all the time! She never missed a soccer game, musical, or birthday party. She was my last piece of my dad we had. I know my dad was there to greet her with the biggest hug and loudest song. Love you forever
