Evelyn NGAN

born 1931 in Guangzhou, China, passed away peacefully, aged 92, at Edgewater Village, Pakuranga, Auckland, on 24 December 2023. Evelyn was the beloved wife of Jim for 72 years, and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dennis and Jeanette, Terry and Eva, Stephen and Steph, Garry and Patricia, and Andrea and the late Richard. Cherished Ma Ma of Dominique and Daniel; Amanda and Tim, Ashleigh, Tiffany and Nick; Matt and Leslie, Scott and Paggy, and Kristi; Samantha and Christian; and Por Por of Fraser. Tai Ma of Oliver and Emmy, and Tai Por of Laurie. Evelyn lived a long, full, and happy life, and she will be missed by her family and friends. Jim and family wish to thank the staff of Metlifecare Edgewater Village for their care, patience, and compassion in providing comfort to Evelyn. A service for Evelyn will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100/102 St Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland on Tuesday 9 January 2024 at 12:00pm.
