I am very sad to here of Mrs. San Angelo's passing. I too had Mrs. San Angelo as my 3rd grade teacher. I had such a fantastic learning experience in her classroom. I still talk about her to this day!! Rest in Peace, Mrs. San Angelo.

I was in then-Mrs. Stroud's 2nd grade class in 1970. I just remember her as a wonderful, caring, inspiring teacher. She had us all perform Broadway show tunes for our parents, which I did not particularly want to do, but which helped me develop a love for musicals which has stayed with me all these years. She was firm but fair, and I am grateful for what she taught me.

I had the honor of working with Evelyn for several years at Schumaker Elementary. We were classroom neighbors and I enjoyed going to her home for Schumaker staff get togethers.
Evelyn touched my life and the lives of many students. She will be missed.

I was fortunate to have Evelyn as my teacher to years in a row, for 2nd and 3rd grade. All time favorite teacher. Made a huge impact at such a young age. My condolences to the family. You know this, but she was a wonderful person.

I have many fond memories of your mom and dad when they were at St. Francis de Sales. They were very involved and used to volunteer with the homeless, and also providing rides to those parishioners who needed help. They both hold a special place in my heart. My prayers are with you all.
