Evelyn Santiago Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 27, 2020.
Ms. Evelyn Santiago, 31, of Orange St, Waterbury, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her loving and supportive family. Ms. Santiago was born November 18, 1988, in Waterbury, CT, a daughter to Enrique Santiago of Waterbury, and Evelyn Madera of Seattle Washington. "Eevi" as she was also known as, was educated in the Waterbury Public School System. She was very creative and was self employed. Her business was called Evecreates which made resin creation. She spent her time creating and experimenting with resin rolling tray sets and light up resin ashtrays. She could work and create with anything she put her hands to. She was a vibrant spitfire of a woman. She had a fierce passion and devotion to her family and friends and a big heart. She wouldn't hesitate to do whatever she could to be there for anyone. She made friends wherever she went. She will be missed by all that knew her. Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Jarieliz Marie Rivera, her fiance' Ernest Berrios (the two planned to get married next year), Ernest's two children that viewed Eevi as a mother to them; Rosalyn Pagan and Jacob Berrios, siblings; Enrique Santiago Jr. and Keyla Santiago both of Seattle, WA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from all walks of life.

This is still so unreal I can't believe this happen to you. I want to start off by saying thank you for being such an amazing friend to me and loving my kids(puppies)as you will say . Although we weren't together all the time like we use to be I'm glad I was able to be apart of your life. I'm so lucky to have known such a beautiful soul like yours. And to have gotten to be apart of your family don't worry I'll be here for them in whatever way I can. I'll forever cherish all the moments we spent together. Your truly going to be missed. Watch over all of us especially Jari shes really going to need you to help her get through this . Your truly going to be missed Sincerely your Pitbull ❤

To my big sis,
Your daughter will always be taken care of and looked after, that is my promise to you. I'm proud of the woman you had become and the life you had built for yourself with Ernie. Our relationship wasn't the smoothest especially in our teenage years, but we always loved and respected each other. May you join our ancestors on the other side and Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,
Your annoying little sister
Chachi
