Evelyn Winn Obituary
She was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Norfolk, Va., the daughter of Irving and Verna Hargrove. She graduated from Kempsville High School and attended Business School in Norfolk, with a career as a secretary and insurance broker.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Paul Winn Jr.; two children, Linda C. Winn, William Marshall Winn; two granddaughters, Miranda Phiippi, Ariana Winn Gioia; three great-grandchildren: Brecken, Alivia and Willow.
She was active in the Cambridge Women's Club, the Cambridge Garden Club and Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling in the United States, Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands, Canada and cruising in the Caribbean Islands.
A memorial service will be held at Thomas Funeral Home P.A. in Cambridge on Wednesday, July 5, 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Hurley officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Talbot Hospice, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
