Everett Faulkner Obituary
CHILLICOTHE - Everett E. Faulkner, 79, of Homosassa, Fla., formerly of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Sturgill Hospice in Brookville, Fla.
He was born in Benson, Ill., on Sept. 14, 1938, to the late Keith and Ethel (Gerjects, Ficken) Faulkner.
He was employed at Caterpillar for 35 years. He was married to Donna (Burgdorf) for 35 years. He and Donna were snowbirds before making Florida their permanent home four years ago.
Everett was a member of Chillicothe Christian Church, where he also worked as their property manager. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and loved traveling.
Those left to remember him are his wife, Donna; his daughters, Gay Cribbs (Duane) of Eureka, Ill., and Kim Farmer (Tim) of Chillicothe, IL; step-daughters, Angie Plunk of Eureka, IL, and Becky Hobbs (Kevin) of Bellbrook, Ohio; sisters, Marjorie Gudat (Roland) of Peoria Heights, Ill., Judi Lane (Bill) of Bentonville, Ark., Linda Hire (Chuck) of Peoria, Ill., and Kathy Dravis (Rich) of Washington, Ill.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Arnold Faulkner.
A celebration of life will be held at Chillicothe Christian Church from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
