Dear Everett,
Bill and I think about you so often. The anniversary of your death comes each year on his birthday. We know that your beloved Sarah is now with you in heaven and also both your brothers are with you.

We want you to know of the great things that have been happening at your little church in Mattawamkeag and it all started with you bringing to church that little jar with loose change and saying to us "this is just the beginning, we will have our much needed new roof" and by golly in a few short months we raised enough to get it. Lately much more has been accomplished, a new furnace (old one was ancient as you know), new cupola to keep those darn pigeons out and your friend Alton built a new sign for the front of the church.
Our beloved minister Leon Robinson is now with you and he is also missed so much.

Not sure if you knew that Bill has your jacket, Sarah had brought it to the church during one of our sales and he bought it. We keep it handy on a hook in the kitchen and when it is cooler and we have to step out with our doggie we slip into it and our thoughts immediately turn to you. We also have your handy orange fly swatter handy, (thought you would like to know that).

I have been in touch with your beautiful sister Opal, she is such a sweet person but you already know that!
Growing up I always though her and I must be related as your Grandmother had the same name as mine.

Love and hugs to you and yours in heaven and until we all meet again I will say much love and hugs to you all.

Dear Sarah and family,
How my hearts bleeds for all of you. Another wonderful man is now an angel watching over you all in heaven. I am sure that he was greeted by Bob and they will have many conversations together still. Bob always enjoyed Everett's company at CCOM. He was always so upbeat and positive. I know you will miss him greatly but surround yourselves with family and friends. It helps heal the hurt and the lonleiness. Everett served his town and state well. I know he is respected by so many. God bless you all and know that I am keeping you all in my prayers.
Love,
Patsy Dyer

Sarah, Suzanne, Bub and family-Dan and I are very sorry for your loss of a wonderful man. The fair won't be the same without hearing that special voice saying "Sweet Tooth Cafe!!!" Everytime we went by the house the last few days we prayed for all of you. We will also miss seeing him rocking on the porch while the grandchildren were playing around him on their bikes. Please know that our prayers will continue for all of you -Dan and Steph Ham-Lee, Maine

To the family:
We are so saddened by the loss, not only to you, but also to the constituents Everett served with such passion and dedication. Gail Rae and Barb Potts had invited us to the Baptist senior luncheon on Tuesday and we were stunned when the minister asked for prayers for the family. May God grant you the peace of knowing that the many prayers coming your way are from our hearts, and may God also surround you all with caring friends and family as you grieve your great loss. Prayers, Bill and Donna Welch

Dear McLeod Family,

I was shocked to read in the BDN this morning about Everett's passing away. We served together in the House of Representatives during the 122th Legislature. He was a very good representative for his district and the state; he took his job seriously. I enjoyed conversing with him, and I was very happy to work with him on several issues. I offer you my most sincere condolences, and I pray the Lord to give you the strength and blessings to comfort you in this time of loss. Everett will look after you from his heavenly home.

To the McLoad Family -
I was saddened to learn of Everett's passing. I knew him from my workplace - Wheelabrator-Sherman. He was always such a gentle gentlman. I always enjoyed his visits. He always sensed when I was busy and could not visit with him - that meant a lot to me. Please accept my condolences and may God be with you as you go through the next weeks.
