Everette Lee CARROLL

CARROLL, Everette Lee Age 78, went to be with the Lord September 11, 2011. He was preceded in death by parents George and Hazel Carroll; sister, Dorothy Smith; aunt and uncle, Hillary and Kate Carroll of Bowling Green, KY and uncle and aunt, Elise and Barney Hedgepath of Waverly, TN. Survived by wife of 53 years, Lucy Lee Moore Carroll and their seven foster children and many loving friends. He was a graduate of Parmer School, Hillsboro High School and Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Baumholder, Germany. He retired from Unisys Corporation in 1994. He was an active member of the Aphasia Group at Vanderbilt Hospital, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers, Sports Car Club of America, and a Silver Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League. Everette was known for his love of his church, cars, clocks, cards, coins the Commodores and he had a deep, sincere and genuine love for his friends. A special thanks to Dr. David Heusinkveld, Tamera Pace, Paula and all his Staff. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Hillsboro Presbyterian Church with visitation two hours prior to the service.
