We are truly grateful and honored to have spent time with Evert and to call him our friend. He was always genuine, kind and loving. His smile and laughter was contagious!! We will always remember you Evert, we will cherish the memories and we miss you so much! An angel was called home to Heaven and we know you are watching over us all. Our thoughts and prayers will forever be with the Tan family and to Mary.

He left us with so many wonderful memories that we will never forget, that we will always talk about , and that we will always laugh about. I'm happy that I spent a lot of time with him these past couple years but also sad at the same time that we can't spend anymore time together. I'm still looking for answers and asking why him? I am still in disbelief. I just hope he is okay wherever he is. I hope he knows we miss him and love him.

Virginia, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your son, Evert. He left this world way too soon, but I believe he lived his life to the fullest while he was here. He will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family.

Dr. Evert Tan was a wonderful student. Very smart and always was into his HTC phone during the 2010-2011. lol I would like to say sorry for your loss to his wonderful family. Dr. Rosemarie Tan, I'm sorry to hear about your baby brother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers so that God can give you strength and healing every single day. Remember he is now up in heaven watching over you guys and protecting you. He is your guardian angel. Once again I'm sorry for your loss.

Dr. Tan was a wonderful dentist he made my daughter trust in a dentist again when no other dentist could he will be greatly missed. Truly sorry for your loss.

Evert was a great young man with a wonderful future ahead of him. I taught him at UIC and liked him a lot. My deepest condolences to your family on this tragic loss.
