I loved Wayne. He was a bright light in this Byrd family in which I've been a part for 57 years, married to Sherry Byrd. He was always fun to be around. He called me "a preacher wanna-be." We were hoping to soon have another fish-camp Byrd family gathering, and I was looking forward to sitting beside him again. I will miss him. Rest in peace, Wayne.
Your "Preacher-Wamna-Be" friend,

Jerri, So sorry to hear about Wayne. We grew up together in Lancaster. He worked on mine and my Dad´s VW´s. I enjoyed having breakfast with Wayne and Doug at Reds Grill. My condolences to you and the family.

Jerri, Aunt Ruby and family. Sorry of the loss of Wayne. He was a great husband, father, grand children. His smile and laughing always was contagious. I am glad to know that he’s with his father in law my Uncle Ray , Uncle Roy and My Larry. I wished I could see them together laughing and watching over us all. God bless him. I pray for Jerri and the entire family to find comfort in
Our lord.
Judy Martin.
