F. Donald was born on July 26, 1933 and passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. F. Donald was a resident of Newnan, Georgia at the time of his passing. He graduated from The University of Georgia in 1957, having completed his final two years of high school and his undergraduate degree in four years. He then graduated from The Medical College of Georgia in 1961. He interned at University Hospital and completed his residency in surgery at The Medical College of Georgia in 1966. He was married to Jane Bell Bass. The funeral service is Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2pm in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, with Dr. Joel Richardson and Dr. Harry Barrow officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 pm to 7pm. McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory (770) 253-4580.
